Day 01

Arrival to Cusco

Welcome to Cusco! Our journey begins with an introductory meeting and time to rest and acclimate to the altitude.

Day 02

Sacsayhuamán & Q’enqo

We will begin our journey at Sacsayhuamán, an Incan fortress north of Cusco. Continue to Q’enqo to explore its ceremonial structures.

Day 03

Moray & Maras

Discover the agricultural terraces of Moray and the salt mines of Maras, surrounded by the Andean landscape.

Day 04

Ollantaytambo

Explore the living Incan town of Ollantaytambo, with its ancient streets and stunning temple ruins.

Day 05

Aguas Calientes

Travel by train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Relax by the riverside before tomorrow’s ascent.

Day 06

Machu Picchu

Experience the wonder of Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Guided tour and reflection time.

Day 07

Pisaq Market & Ruins

Visit the colorful Pisaq market and explore its archaeological complex with breathtaking views.

Day 08

Chinchero

Learn about Andean weaving traditions and explore the charming town of Chinchero.

Day 09

Tambomachay

Discover the sacred water temple of Tambomachay, a symbol of purification and harmony with nature.

Day 10

Farewell Ceremony

End our expedition with a closing ceremony and a celebration of the shared journey in the Andes.

        When does the expedition start?

        The Welcome Orientation marks the start of the trip on Tuesday, October 28th at 6:00 PM and will be held at our hotel followed by dinner. Lunch (1:00 PM) followed by a walking tour of Cusco’s Historic City Center is offered at no extra cost for those who have arrived early.
      
        When does the expedition end?

        The expedition ends on Thursday, November 6th; there are no activities or site visits scheduled on this day and it is considered the day of departure.
      
        Are all meals and accommodations included?

        Yes, all meals and accommodations are included throughout the duration of the trip unless otherwise stated.
      
        What airport should I fly in and out of?
        >
      
        The expedition starts and ends in Cusco, so you should fly into and out of CUZ – Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport.
      
        Can I extend my trip?

        Yes, travelers can extend their stay before or after the expedition at their own expense.
      
        Can I bring my kids?

        The expedition is designed for adults; please contact us directly if you wish to bring children to discuss suitability.
